Stormwater offset contributions are paid by developers to reduce the impacts of stormwater pollution from urban developments.
Developers pay a contribution to us for necessary stormwater management works if they don’t meet their stormwater objectives. Contributions are paid as development occurs.
Stormwater offset contributions apply primarily for areas outside of drainage schemes. However, some drainage schemes also include a stormwater offset rate.

The table below shows the rates per hectare for each municipality.

The calculator stipulates the level of best practice expected within a development. The level of treatment achieved (% of best practice) can be increased beyond the expected amount or decreased where mitigating circumstances prevent local treatment.
