Would you like to help improve habitat for platypus? Do you enjoy being out in nature? Come and plant with us!
Melbourne Water is holding a special planting day along Diamond Creek to help restore platypus habitat. If you’ve migrated to Australia (recently or a while ago), or are a refugee or asylum seeker, bring your family and come join us.
By taking part, you’ll:
- help improve platypus habitat
- enjoy the outdoors
- meet other people and have some fun!
You might even learn a thing or two about the local platypus of Diamond Creek.
Please note children must have an adult with them.
What to bring
Remember to:
- wear sturdy shoes
- dress for the weather
- bring your own drinking water
- bring gardening gloves.
We will provide lunch after the planting.
