Event details

Come along and hear from David De Angelis, Frogs Victoria President and Zoologist/Ecologist. David is a naturalist, educator and ecological consultant, with particular interests in the conservation and ecology of frogs and reptiles.
The evening events:
7pm | The evening will start with an engaging presentation full of frog facts.
7:30 - 8.30pm | We will then embark on a guided walk and listen out for the local frogs calling and make some recordings of frogs. Bring the kids along and engage in fun and interesting facts all about frogs!
9 - 10pm | For those extra keen to look for the elusive Southern Toadlet population we will move to a second location (limited parking) to close the evening. This part of the event is less suitable for children.
Get your listening ears on and your smart phone ready to capture records of the frogs calling. Your data will contribute to the Frog Census program which provides vital research on our important frog species. You'll be having fun, learning new things and contributing to conservation. Win Win Win!
