What to expect
Our contractors, PROGRAMMED, will be undertaking works on the sewer from Thursday 20 March to late-April 2025.
Works will include:
- Burnley Street will remain open during works. Traffic management to assist motorists, bike riders and pedestrians around our temporary work site will be in place.
- These works will require concrete saw cutting, rock breaking and excavation. We will ensure the noisiest works are completed earlier in the evening, however ongoing vacuum trucks and other machinery will be operating throughout the night.
- There will be some odour when opening and accessing the maintenance holes. We recommend closing your doors and windows while we are working close to your property.
- During daytime hours, the road will be reopened under reduced speeds.
When to expect us
Investigative works will take place on Thursday 20 March and Friday 21 March 2025.
The main sewer maintenance works will commence from Monday 24 March and run until late-April 2025.
Works will take place between 8pm and 7am, weather permitting. Occasional weekend work may be required. We will notify community ahead of these works if necessary.
