From providing clean drinking water, treating sewage, reducing and responding to flood risk, and keeping all 25,000km of Melbourne’s rivers, creeks and catchments healthy, we manage all parts of the water cycle that are essential to our way of life today, tomorrow and for generations to come. 

We’re looking at how we can improve our services so we can continue to deliver our essential services for generations to come.  

With a growing population and a changing climate, the actions we take and the investments we make now will define our future water services.  

These actions will also help us to continue to protect and enhance the environment, have fewer interruptions to services, and manage and update ageing infrastructure.  

In our latest survey, we’re asking our customers and community across Greater Melbourne what investments they want us to prioritise. Survey participants choose from several investment options across our water, sewerage, waterways and drainage services. 

The survey results will help Melbourne Water to understand your needs and help us to prioritise key investments over the next five years.
