Event details
Hosted by Melbourne Water and Banyule City Council.
Program
Join Melbourne Water’s Waterwatch Team and Banyule City Council to explore the frogs that inhabit the Banyule flats along the Yarra River.
Hear from Danielle Wallace PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne as she shares findings from her study of the breeding behaviour of tree frog species and the spread of the disease caused by Chytrid fungus.
During the evening we will lead a guided walk to search for frogs around two of Banyule’s favourite amphibian hot-spots. We will use the Frog Census App and iNaturalist to report our findings.
This is a FREE event.
