Event details
This September, we’re joining forces with the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) and Bacchus Marsh Platypus Alliance to promote platypus conservation on the Werribee River.
Join us for an early evening walk and talk to learn more about the elusive platypus and try your hand at spotting one of these amazing creatures in their own habitat.
Hear from the Bacchus Marsh Platypus Alliance about their tireless work in helping to protect and conserve this amazing species. You’ll also learn techniques for spotting platypus and discover how you can put these to use, by monitoring platypuses and recording valuable data as part of the ACF’s Platy-Project.
