N1: To create a new application, click on the new project button.
N1: The incentives system will create a draft application
N1: that you'll be able to save as you progress it and submit it when it's ready.
N1: We advise all applicants to get in touch with a Melbourne
N1: Water representative before submitting an application.
N1: Select if you are representing an organization
N1: or you are applying as an individual.
N1: For this demonstration video,we have created a project
N1: for a landholder applicant.
N1: Depending on the type of applicant selected,
N1: the system will display some fields to record relevant applicant details
N1: such as name, contact, number, email and postal address.
N1: For organizations additional details are required, such
N1: as applicant position and organization details, among others.
N1: The new incentives system has been designed to enable applicants
N1: to apply for multiple activities using the same application form.
N1: Tick all the activities that you discussed with the Melbourne Water Representative
N1: your project aligns to. Provide a brief description of what you are trying to achieve with your project or the issue you intend to address.
N1: It is important to list
N1: all the stakeholders that will be involved in the execution of the project.
N1: This will help our Melbourne Water Representative to understand
N1: if further consultation or technical advice is required.
N1: Use of the land for private landholders applications
N1: where the project will be executed is also required.
N1: You can select multiple users if the case.
N1: An enhanced feature of the new incentives system is the site location tool.
N1: You can find your property or project location using an address
N1: or landmark name.
N1: Then you have the option to select the whole parcel.
N1: Or if the area of interest has different boundaries, you can draw manually a single
N1: or multiple polygons to reflect your project areas.
N1: You are also able to have an aerial view of the project
N1: site to confirm the entered location is correct.
N1: The property address
N1: will need to be entered as well when drawing your project site.
N1: If you experience any problems drawing polygons, please select
N1: the corresponding parcel of interest or a nearby parcel and write
N1: “polygons to be drawn by Melbourne Water” on the free text box below the map.
N1: The incentives system allows you to upload any documents
N1: you may consider relevant to support your application.
N1: For instance, designs, quotes, photos, among others.
N1: The maximum size for each document is 50 megabytes.
N1: A summary containing all the entered data during the application
N1: process will be displayed at the end of the application process.
N1: If you want to change any of the entered data, you can click the back button
N1: to find the section where the data was entered and corrected or changed.
N1: Click Continue to go back to the summary section.
N1: Once you have read and
N1: understood the Livable Communities Livable Waterways Privacy Statement
N1: and the program guidelines tick, “I agree to terms and conditions”
N1: to accept Melbourne Water terms and conditions.
N1: Once you click finish, the application will move automatically
N1: to the submitted
N1: and pending review stage, which means the project has been assigned
N1: to a Melbourne Water representative to start the assessment process.
N1: You can access the incentives system at any time to track the status
N1: or manage your projects or obtain a copy of your application.
