Our services to local government include:
- planning, coordinating and delivering on new drainage assets and asset renewal
- implementing and partnering on flood planning, modelling, information and preparedness
- managing waterways and catchments, and the open spaces valued by the community
- undertaking integrated water management (IWM) and stormwater management planning and projects
- preparing and maintaining Development Service Schemes
- responding to development application referrals and conditions
- undertaking asset maintenance, such as weed management, revegetation and waterway management, and
- responding to flood, bushfire and pollution emergencies.
We are committed to improving the way we work with, and alongside, councils.
Help us improve how we communicate with you
We invite all local government staff in our catchment area to complete a short, 5-minute survey to help us improve the way we communicate with councils. The survey will help us understand what information you need from us, and the best channels and frequency of communication.
The survey closes on Wednesday 4 December 2024.
If you have questions about this survey, please contact [email protected].

Let’s Talk – online community hubs
We have a number of online community hubs on our Let’s Talk engagement platform to keep communities involved and informed about some of our key assets, precincts and projects.
You can also follow these individual online community hubs for specific assets, precincts and projects in your local government area.
Explore pages like:
