Melbourne Water seeks community input to help shape our services for the future
Melbourne Water is looking at how to improve our waterways and drainage services over the next five years. Water is essential to our way of life.
We are in the decade that matters and the actions we take now will define our future water services.
By 2030, nearly six million Melburnians will need access to water and the other services Melbourne Water delivers every day. Our expanding city faces increasing weather unpredictability due to climate change impacts.
As a result, Melbourne faces more challenges than ever. Large volumes of rainfall need to be safely managed and transported away from built-up areas into rivers and creeks.
That’s why Melbourne Water is engaging with communities across Greater Melbourne to hear what matters most to them with our new waterways and drainage survey.
The results from this survey will help Melbourne Water to understand your needs and help us to prioritise key investments over the next five years.
Your voice matters. Help to shape our waterways and drainage services for the future and participate in the survey.
