The transfer and treatment of sewage is a power intensive process. The Eastern Treatment Plant solar farm was constructed in 2023 to help power the plant and consists of 39,000 sun tracking solar panels. Being able to harness the power of the sun, we're able to generate renewable energy on site and reduce our emissions, helping us to adapt our operations for a changing climate.
